Deep Foundations
'Everyone
who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show
you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who
digs deep, and laid the foundation upon rock, and when a flood
arose, the stream broke against the house, and could not shake
it, because it had been well built.'
Luke 4:47-48
We are all grounded and built
by forces, pressures, people and groups every single day of our
lives. The educational ministry of the Church is intentional about "building
and founding" children and adults in the image of God. We
invite you to participate with us in making ourselves and our children
available to be deeply grounded and shaped by God's loving hands
through the ministries of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church,
Sunday mornings and mid-week. It is our calling in partnership
with God's Holy Spirit, to help and ensure that each and every
person is equipped with a deep and abiding foundation for life
- a foundation that will permit us to be God's people wherever
each of us is called to live and act in the world. |
