What We Do

The Music Ministry isn’t just about music. It’s about encouraging, teaching, and transforming lives and soothing those that are broken or injured. Through music, we prepare people for the message that God has for them and demonstrate what it means to Praise and Worship God.

opportunities to serve

Worship Choir of Willoughby Hills:
Rehearses on Thursdays at 7:30 PM. It’s open to all without audition or try-out. Ages Middle School to Seasoned Citizen are welcome!

Praise Team Singers:
Rehearses on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM. Some familiarity with contemporary Christian music is encouraged.

Praise Team Band:
Rehearses on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. Some proficiency with your instrument (keyboards, guitars, horns, etc.) is expected.

Team Tech Ministry

The Tech Team’s role is to make sure the technical aspects of each worship service and rehearsal operate smoothly. The ministry of this Team touches everyone at WHUMC. Helping to reach the congregation with the love of Jesus and His message of salvation is our number 1 priority. After all, this Sunday may be our only chance to reach someone who needs Jesus.

Audio Techs:
The role of the Audio Technician is to make sure the sound for each worship service is clear, uninterrupted and balanced.

Video Techs:
The role of the Video Technician is to make sure each worship service runs seamlessly and smoothly by ensuring all video equipment is properly set up and then operated as efficiently as possible.
